At the beginning of our project we do not have any sites. We can either take on land of our own or classify your land under the following categories. 

• Grade 1 Sites 

Parcels of land between 0ha to 20ha set aside for biodiversity.

• Grade 2 Sites

Parcels of land between 20ha and 100ha set aside for biodiversity

• Grade 3 Sites

Corridors that are scattered across the landscape, either urban (3U) or rural (3R)

• Grade 4 Sites

Parcels of land over 100ha set aside for biodiversity.

• Grade 5 Sites

Entire estates designated for biodiversity

These categories are aimed at offering more protection to the areas to help protect our biodiversity and all habitats or corridors created with nature at its core.

Please leave land in your will or donate land to Connecting The Wild to be managed for biodiversity. We have experience of working with a multitude of sites across a variety of habitats and species. We will ensure that this land is preserved, cared for and protected in your memory.
